From humble beginnings operating out of a spare bedroom from home, the business quickly grew in popularity and Bratz Basement moved to a larger premises at Victoria Drive in Newlands, Harare, where it remained for 7 years. As the business expanded and toy stocks started to exceed floor space, Audrey and Pam made another move to the Queen of Hearts Complex in Highlands, a tranquil and peaceful shopping complex offering a wide variety of restaurants and boutique shops, with a wonderful play area for children.

When the toy store opened they concentrated on offering a selection of quality, affordable toys and novelties for all ages. They have since progressed and expanded their selection, through the guidance of their customers, to offer a large range of dress-up costumes for both adults and children, balloons of all descriptions, party decorations – which includes themed table ware for all occasions. On the shelves you will find educational toys and DIY play activities for all ages. Novelties, gadgets, magic tricks and puzzles, big and also small enough for party favour packets. The range is vast and if Bratz Basement don’t stock it, they’ll do their best to find it and get if for you.

When you visit the store, you will find Audrey or Pam and Sharon and Ku to assist you. Collectively they have over six decades of experience in supplying happiness, let them help you put a smile on a little one’s face.
